Edit: fixed! Just took some extra time to respawn

I recently have gotten this message while exploring the LG:

[04:23:36 AM] Jovan picked up a scent to the North-West!

I was in the middle bottom area between the Behemoth and Far Bottom Right Corner areas. I opened one of those mine thingies (forgetting the name, its late) and it said the message above.

I searched every inch of the LG map, and could not find it.

At first, I thought it could have been because I had exited and renentered the zone to look at the north-west part and then go down to the ents.

I was about to do it again after still no results, when I actually read this:

Please Confirm this Action

Are you sure you wish to exit this Zone?
(Spawns will despawn for 30 Minutes from time of exiting)

What exactly does it mean by despawn? I noticed the lack of the right ent when I went searching even though I hadnt fought him in the minutes before I found the message.

I thought I would have to wait half an hour until everything respawned, and included the egg as a spawn. But the ent appeared and some chests, but no egg.

I was wondering if I have done something foolish here, or if it is a bug. Cause I really want that eggie xD
