So, I've been watching a whole lot of Jurassic Park/World recently as well as being involved in a dinosaur roleplay. However, my roleplay partners in that one are incredibily slow due to real life problems, so I've decided to see if anyone here, as it seems to still be quite popular, would be interested in one.

The roleplay would feature roleplayers being a Utahraptor, living their lives in the prehistoric past-meaning this will be a realism roleplay (and fully literate, typos are understandable though). No talking, no powers, nothing. Due to most raptors being theorized to be quite intelligent, roleplay will at least be a bit more interesting than mere animals surviving. Players will be problem solving and thinking complexly to ensure their survival. If there are enough people interested, (like...a lot), I may consider two seperate packs competing agaisnt each other for territory and food.

Just some thoughts, feel free to respond here if you're interested- I'll be checking often so I'll certaintly see any messages. I'd be glad to throw around more ideas for this with those who comment.


For a basic plot, I think I might as well post a sample of my own type of roleplaying to get some more of yall interested ;P

Some realistic things will be bent-such as grass not existing in the time of the dinosaurs. Grass is pretty! It is needed >:0 Other dinosaurs that wouldn't be in the time period of Utahraptors are welcomed to be mentioned, I think it'd be interesting to have a large variety of dinosaurs roaming about.

Soft winds pushed the grasses of the plains that brushed agaisnt the shrubbery of the thick forest around a large lake. Many herbivore species roamed the area, grazing and keeping the grass in check to ensure it doesn't grow to big, but of course they don't know that. What they did know, however, was that a pack of Utahraptors roamed the plains as well. The rustling in the grasses was too loud to be anything else. The herbivores kept their wary eyes upon the swaying plains, keeping their young below themselves as they grazed. Just when they thought things were calmer, the grasses silencing a bit besides the constant winds pushing it, a top of bright, red feathers popped up from the grasses. It was closest to a grazing Iguanodon, who curiously tilted its head at the sudden swash of colors in the rather plain grasses. Suddenly, the feathers turned into a fully grown adult Utahraptor as it reared the rest of its head out to peer at the plant-eater. With a loud call, the Iguanodon stumbled back a bit at realization of what the feathers belonged to and it ran back to the herd who didn't understand what it was frightened by. The head had disappeared back into the swaying surrounding plant life. Its body coloring and markings throwing off the herbivores' ability to properly see it, and its companions. Who the pack would go after, only time would tell...
