A Rising Sky https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=61998
This is a roleplay with no known plot, it is purely about the life of your character. It is things you'd find in the real world only and set in the year 2023. Everyone is reasonably happy. It is set within a France town called Byrisco. You can be anything you want as long as you stay there and you're human - royalty, slum dweller, scientist.
There are no known magic except in the annual Dream Walkers League which is coming up next year; you may have a team of four, animals or human. If you decide to bring an animal, it must be your familiar. It is possible to telepathically communicate with your familiar and they have the same intelligence as a human. As four the magics, there are 4 types, you may only use each type once;
Shadow - This puts a blindness on each of your enemies for a day. They can not see further than one meter around them, the rest is a hazy darkness. It will also cause them to have difficultly walking straight
Fire - This will put a fiery curse on the person, they are able to pass it on to any living being within a day. if not, they will be burnt and lose the ability of one limb.
Chains - Slows the movement of the person, it chains them down. They will eb unable to jump, climb or fly and will move much slower.
Water - this will form a shield around you, it will block any sort of attack, magic or physical.
Roleplayers can be onlookers, advisers, helpers to the League and can do other things, they do not have to participate.
Rules
1) If you are attacked by a type when competing, play legitimate. Don't pretend you can still climb or anything, you will be given a secondary curse I haven't mentioned..
2) No being OP, god like or anything
3) You must roleplay a human or familiar, you don't have to roleplay your own familiar.
4) This is a RP, kind of RPG, but I (IvyCat) will control NPCs and create obstacles as we go along for you. I will also create the scene but you can respond any way you like and don't need me to tell you the consiquences, as long as you're realistic about it
5) if you have the disadvantage don't magically win .-.
6) I don't think i need anymore rules
7) You can have up to 4 characters (Human or familiar)
8) Each human can have up to 2 familiars, but each familiar can only have one human
9) Only unrealistic thing is that all weapons & familiars have the same strength if used right
10) More males & familiars needed. Please do make someone elses familiar ^^
Allison Landsdale
She giggled and threw her legs up in the air, kicking the sky as she lay down on the grassy field. She breathed in the fresh scents of the flowers, picking out lawn cuttings and lavender particularly. The sky was bright that morning without a single cloud and the sun shone down, hurting her eyes a little as she watched, looking up. her horse familiar was in the stables a little off the town and she was spending the day off, bunking off class with a stomach bug. She sighed happily. She didn't want to spend this gorgeous Friday inside and would kick it off at the nightclub later this evening. Allison didn't particularly feel like training, although she knew she should.

Jack Landsdale
Jack was working the day shift at the Swallow Flyer Cafe and was bored. He placed another tray with beautifully made coffee down on the table, careful not to spill it as he worked through the usual routine hoping to earn a little bit more money. He hummed to himself as the sun shone in, the little cafe was getting increasingly warm and more unbearable. He didn't understand how his sister could stand the weather as he wiped sweat off his brow, walking back behind the counter and putting on a wide smile to the next customer, "Hello! Can I take your order?" he excepted Phronsie to come and bother him if she was around back, or she could be late to the shift. He chuckled.

Wolf
Wolf was sweeping over the mayors house yard, his wings outstretched and gliding as his beady eyes darted around, checking the wall for any intruders and making sure every guard was on time for their patrol schedule. He flapped his wing as he circled, letting out a warning cry of a screech. He seemed satisfied with the work being done around the place, but knew it was his duty to double check again and put everyone in their place. The humans tended to lack behind more than he liked. Wolf flew past the glass windows, checking in everyone of them for Katherine to return to her shoulder and report.

Anke
Her legs fiddled with some thread as she skipped over the clothes, singing to herself in the large tailoring workshop. She ran a successful business as a tailor, if her customers got over the fact she was a spider. The workshop was too big for her, but the perfect size for the human that would overtake her. She was rather old for a familiar and would probably have to retire soon, which was a shame as she thoroughly enjoyed making clothes, she sometimes had assistance from the blacksmith and make armour as well.

Sophronia
Sophronia sat in her loft bed hurriedly sketching a dress design she had just come up with. 'This one looks amazing!' She thought happily. Suddenly, she sat up straight. Glancing out the clock she grimaced, late for work again. She sighed, jumped to the floor, and ran outside. Walking towards the Swallow Flyer Cafe, she brightened thinking of Jack. A little bit later she skipped through the cafe door and sang, "Hi Jack!"

Leah sat outside her house underneath a tree reading a book. She heard a sound coming from some bushes to the right of the tree she sighed and closed her book , she walked over to the bushes thinking Pan was messing with her again. She looked in the bushes and found that Pan was not in them. Leah sighed and walked back over to her tree and picked up her book before heading inside her house to her room.

Pan
Inside Pan was laying on the bed Reading a rather thick book and yawning periodically, he found the old book on alchemy a bit irreverent and dry, but its contents were a good basic principle and something he could probably expand on if needed his ears flicking to the Door as Leah entered " Good morning M'lady" he said kindly without looking up from his readings before marking his place, and turning his attention towards her his large ears rotated forward " You seem a bit distracted.... could I be of any help?.... maybe a glass of Tea?" he asked standing up seeming a bit concerned
Wolf
Wolf stood behind a tree catching his breath a bit ' maybe that was a bit too close....' he thought Hiving somehow escaped the girls sight this time. She was always reading and her familiar had run him off a time or two without her knowing. Her little cottage was the only house in the entire town he had yet to break into, but he did not plan on causing a scene here, he just liked to stop by every now and then and listen to her read aloud outside. It was an oddly nostalgic feeling though he doesn't have a single memory of anyone ever reading to him. he slid town to the ground with his back against the tree trunk as he pulled out a loaf of bread from a small sack he was carrying and nibbled on a slice as he listened to the sounds of the woods and the cottage not far away..
