Is the first Standard Genetic Scanner meant to stay in your inventory? I've had it there since I started out here and it hasn't been used up and I can't trade it. I already have the Exceptional Genetic Scanner so I really don't need the standard one anymore.

I think you have to use it to get rid of it

I did use it before I got the Exceptional, it's still there.

I think you might get a couple of them?
But once you have the Exceptional - it will always default to the Exceptional over the limited use ones. And if that isn't tradeable, you can just get rid of it. Unless you specifically wanted to keep it for some reason. =P

I was mostly just wondering why they're marked as not tradeable when I've seen them on the Trade Broker.

There are different types.
The ones you get from the tutorial are not tradeable.
A long, long time ago, there used to be tradeable ones that could be obtained. They aren't anymore though.
