if there was a check box under hatchery settings that said something like allow other users to find pets I release then it would in my opinion convince more players to explore and buy pet traps cause they would be finding a lot of unique pets.

Support! Maybe even the same owner could find them again. Seems like a good way to help database bloat, too.
My only question: if the original owner wanted it back and paid diamonds for it, would they get a clone...?

I think maybe if they agree to let it to be found, they can't reclaim it. Like theres a checkbox for it to be found or not
