The room was lightly lit with a single light hanging above the bare table. This had been the room that the bar tender had told you to come when you had asked for work, though now that you were here it looked more like a set up. At the table a man sat, feet up on the table as he flicked through a magazine. Nervously you sit in the only other chair in the room. The man never looked up to address you, but simply kept flicking through the pages of the magazine. After a while you begin to look about the room finding piles of ash on either side of the room. The faint smell of burnt hair filled the air. The man spoke slowly then, setting the magazine aside. "Earth is all but a distant memory, the land having killed itself when the people on it become greedy, taking more than there was to offer. Only those with connections or money escaped, but they weren't prepared for what they found out in the stars. Millions, even billions of miles away a whole new solar system was going on about their lives. This system is full of everything from wealthy businessman to petty theives, of so many other races that we were the minority. Even after our failure on Earth we still wished to be the supreme race which as everyone knows is what led to our extinction. I know what you're thinking, what's the point in this story. You see something very important to me was stolen, something that only a human like myself can use. Something is coming, something only that item can stop. But now though I still have a bit of a problem...I don't have a crew to help me retrieve it. So you in or what? You up for the whole guts and glory thing or not? Fill out the paper work and I may get around to looking at it alright?" Lazily the man tosses you a packet before taking the magazine up like nothing had happened.

So basically this is like The Guardians of the Galaxy. You can be any race EXCEPT HUMAN. Sorry but I'm the only one going to play as a human mainly for story reasons, hope you understand. It all wouldn't make sense if the whole crew was human. I don't care if you are a two legged giraffe with wings as long as you aren't human.

This looked much better before i colored it, much better. It says they are a humanoid race with pink-white skin, but all the pictures i could find of them look entirely human so her skin is a bit more pink than the pictures of her race. I also failed miserably with making her look more her proper age, so she looks like a teenager. Oops. Lets just pretend she looks so young because Arcturans livespan can extend hundreds of years, or at least according to one of the two bottom links they can. So now you have an overly complicated explanation for my picture, your welcome.
Strengths: she can handle just about any long range weapon. She can spot peoples weaknesses quickly. She is rather light on her feet.
Weaknesses: she doesnt farewell with hand to hand combat or close combat weapons. She can be a little too cheerful for her good. She is destructive and is at a loss for common sense when it comes to weapons.
Weapon of Choice: anything that can do serious damage
Position on Ship: gunman
Backstory: Her dad taught her (almost) everything she knows about weapon. Her fascination with weapons only grew when she was introduced to the more dangerous weapons. Eventually she was learning to build bombs and guns behind her fathers back. Her dad became very concerned as she became more obsessed. Eventually, out of fear and worry, he tried to get her sent to jail by framing her for a crime. She got away before she could be arrested and has been building and selling weapons for years till she found this job.
