so, my friend Lycanroc just asked me how to get a genetic test kit, and I told him I didn't know. Does anyone know how to get these?

At this time, there is no way that I am aware of outside of the Newbie sachel that you get as... well... a newbie, to get the one-time-use ones. It was possible to get some if you did the on-site egg hunt earlier this year, but those (unfortunately, for literally everyone with the infinite scanner and test kit) are untradeable.

Back when the Fest Wheel was around, they were a reasonably common prize, so it was a great source of them, but since it's been discontinued. Well.

I can assure you that you can't get them from mission satchels (we've done literally thousands of missions and opened more satchels than I want to try figuring out, I'd think we would have seen one by now if they were there)

As such, the only way to test pets is either to buy the ludicrously expensive one-use ones when they're in the Broker, buy the infinite-use ones from the Diamond Shop, or get other people to test your pets for you.

(our opinion is, if you have the diamonds, wait until a diamond sale and get the infinite ones, it's very useful- or at least the Scanner, which means you can see the genetics of enemies while you're fighting them, which is something)
