So Ive reached what I hope is the final part of Faerinas Shrine, where you have to fight the archer and mage and whatnot...

I can get the archers down easily, but then the next wave comes and demolishes me. I havent been able to even knock down the mage once, though I got close with Clarie. My main team is a tank (Though its not very good), an attacker (Clarie), and my healer. They did very well throughout the entirety of the shrine up until this point.

Does anyone have any tips? Theyre all at least 25 or above.

just need a confirmation before we try to do a breakdown, your actual team is Cerea, Clarie, and... Terene?

Ah, no. My pets are simply sorted by levels.

It is Clarie, Cerea, and Galaxtix. Gala is my tank. Cerea is my healer. Clarie is my attacker.

Okay then...

Name: Galaxtix
Level: 28
Element: Shadow
Prof.: 1Int
Relic: Illusionist, uncommon, lv25
Armor: Evoker, uncommon, lv5
Acc.: Str/Dex, rare, lv20
Acc.: Int/Agi, rare, lv20

> I'd have her as the Attacker, actually, rather than Claire. Shadow element's second attack (lv30), Vampiric Strike, is an offensive move, as opposed to Water's Ice Barrier, which is defensive.

> Shadow Tank, we'd personally say Agi over the other stats first, maybe with 1Int (Possible Shadow Tank Profs, lv30: 1HP/1Int, 1Int/1Agi, 1HP/1Agi, 2Agi, depending on preferences/playstyle)
> Shadow Tanks want Illusionist (Int/Agi) gear.
> Replace the Uncommon equipment asap regardless, it's trash (level 55 uncommon gear has about the same stats as a level 20 legendary equip)

> Shadow Attacker, you'd want to go with Int/Dex prof, and Evoker (Int/Dex) equipment

Name: Cerea
Level: 30
Element: Light
Prof.: 1Int, 1Agi
Relic: Int/Dex, rare, lv15
Armor: Assassin, rare, lv20
Acc.: Ravager, rare, lv20
Acc.: Ravager, rare, lv25

> Light Healers want to have, at level 30, probably 2Int, though 1Int/1Dex is technically viable (better to wait until lv60 and go 2Int/1Dex)
> Oh Boy, why does she have Ravager equips? Ravager equips are more for Strength Mission pets. They do nothing for her- her attacks use Magical Damage, which runs off of the Int stat.
> Light Healers should have primarily Evoker equips, with maybe one of two pieces of Illusionist gear if they really need a bit more speed to get their heals off faster.
> Technically the Relic is buffing the right stats but... it's just not a very good equip, giving +0 to two stats.

Name: Claire
Level: 32
Element: Water
Prof.: 2HP
Relic: Disciple, epic, lv15
Armor: Str/Dex, rare, lv20
Acc.: Illusionist, rare, lv25
Acc.: Illusionist, rare, lv20

> As I already said, I'd probably lean to having Claire as the Tank and Gala as the Attacker, but anyhow.

> 2HP is fine if the water pet is a Tank, though you could also go 2Agi or 1HP/1Agi.
> On the other hand, a water attacker should probably go with 2Str

> Disciple gear is Eh, and more specified gear is always better
> Str/Dex gear IS what you want on a Physical Attacker
> But Illusionist is more meant for Shadow or Light Tanks, not a pet with a Physical element

> A Water Tank would want Assassin (Str/Agi) equips, though.

> While the general team setup is Tank/Healer/Attacker, it's certain elements that tend to fill those roles: Water/Earth/Shadow are the typical Tanking elements, Light is the Healer, and Fire and Air are designed to be Glass Cannon attackers.

> For wave mobs (where if you knock down an opponent another replaces them), you want to focus on a single enemy- whichever is the strongest. You knock out one enemy, and just keep attacking that slot, so that you have two weak opponents and all the stronger ones can only come one at a time.

So, if I were to make Clarie a tank, would you suggest I switch Gala out with Terene for a glass cannon rather than a normal attacker? Or just keep the initial setup, and switch them up as you suggested?

Entirely viable either way, though in the end it would depend on you playing around and figuring out what setup of elements works for you (and profs, at later levels- we spent a Lot of gold at level 65, with 4 points available, figuring out what prof setups worked best for us with the way we prefer to fight.)

If you do decide to swap in Terene, with being Air you'd want to put his profs as (at level 30) probably 1Str/1Dex, maybe 2Str. Preferably Str/Dex, as both air and fire elements have a debuff that they can only inflict on enemies when they get crits.
You'd also want to equip him with Myrmidon (Str/Dex) equips.

I took your original advice, and changed my team up to what you advised... And success! I beat it with ease and have moved through multiple other levels with just as little effort! :) Thank you so much!
