"Sir? Are you sure about this?" The guard asked looking over the scroll he had been given to deliver. What he held in his hands was their future, the very fate of their kingdom. The king slowly nodded, his crown and horns catching the light of the fire that blazed in the middle of the room.
"What other choice do we have? It not ideal no but it's the only hope we have at the moment. If something isn't done then all is lost. Now go and do not delay." The king said in a low, deep voice. The guard nodded before springing off, his hoofed feet clicking against the stone floor of the throne room. With a sigh the ram straightened, his black ears flicking forward some.
"Is it done?" The queen, a brilliant white ewe sheep, asked as she entered the room her night dress dragging the ground behind her. In her arms she carried a bundle of blankets, the hoofed fingers of a lamb lightly pawing at her curling locks that cascaded down from her shoulders.
"Of course my love. Now all we can do is wait and hope that we aren't too late."

To the west of the flowing hills and fields, in the dark showdown of the mountain an evil was brewing. The sleek coat of the panther shimmer in the light of the new moon. His keen eyes overlooked the land before he slinked into the hidden chamber in the mountain. The chambers inside of the mountain were sparsely lit, just as the lord wanted. Silently the panther made his way down to the lord's chamber. "My lord..." the cat purred. "The experiment worked...." a pair of bright red eyes gleamed in the shadowed room. "Your new sons and daughters await your commands." A large clawed hand reached forward, patting the panther on the head.
"You have done well my child, thanks to you we can finally reclaim what is ours." This voice was smooth yet deep and jarring nearly like a hiss. "Rally the troop my son, we must get ready for our attack."

Back in the lands of light and life, the scout made his way to present the King of the East with the scroll. The large Lion looked down at the antelope guard, taking the scroll in his paw. After reading over the scroll he looked down at the scared scout. "Tell his majesty of the North that we are willing to help him. I will select my greatest warriors to help aid in this effort to stop this evil." The Kingdom to the South said the same thing. Two warriors from each kingdom are about to meet peacefuy for the first time in hundreds of years. They have all been given the task to gather more information on the growing armies in the west. This is their journey.

Personality: Hazel is rather sassy, and tends to seem like she is just plain mean. Truth is she is just looking for someone to connect with. Inside she can be really nice, though does so rarely because not many people are nice to her.
Strengths: She is a ferrous warrior, a skilled ranger, and excellent at digging.
Weaknesses: Like most rabbits her first instinct is to run and hide, it takes a lot to beat instincts. Hazel doesn't like swimming, and small children get on her nerves.

Personality: Ab is a quiet brooding sort that normally lets his actions speak his mind. He's not all that smart and doesn't really get humor. Don't let that fool you though, when he's not fighting he is a big lovable puff. In a fight, well that's a whole different story.
Strengths: Brut strength, pain only adds to his anger, and he is a very strong swimmer.
Weaknesses: Ab doesn't like caves, or any small dark space for that matter. He's a bit too ruff at times and tends to break things when trying to help out.

Personality: Amicus is a gentle and wise fellow. However, without sleep, he is snarky and generally unpleasant. He is also rather intelligent, which he uses to help others more than himself. In fact, he has spent most of his teenage years studying magic.
Strengths: Amicus stays cool under pressure, he has very wise words, and is quick on his feet
Weaknesses: Amicus does not do well when tired, self conscious about trying to be a mage, is not very social
Weapon of Choice: blowgun ((too tiny for anything else)) with poisoned darts
