I am having a total brainfart... Could anyone tell me what gear type goes to which element? Thanks!

depends on what you're using the pet for.

Tank = Agility-boosting gear (Assassin, Illusionist, Lightbringer, Tidal Lord, Reaver, Warden), type varying based on pet element and exact startegy (eg. Assassin > Earth or Water, Illusionist > Shadow)

Attacker = Dex-boosting (Myrmidon, Evoker, Pyromancer, Storm Caller)

Light Healer = Evoker, Pyromancer, maybe Lightbringer or Illusionist

Earth, Water, Air = Str-boosting

Fire, Light, Shadow = Int-boosting
