How long am I s'possed to wait until my adolescent turns into an adult? I am soooo not waiting a year- or a month, for that matter. Please help? --- obviously a newbie

from the moment they become an adolescent (or are made via the generator via essence, or are a starter) it's roughly 17-18 days until a pet reached adulthood.
This can be shortened by using Magical Pies (can be used once every three days, adds 144 hours (6 days) to the adolescent's age.)

If a pet has been genetically tested, you can see how long it has until it reaches adulthood in the Maturity bit of its profile

eg.
"Age: 6 Days
Maturity: Adolescent (242/648)
Profile Views: 13" (this pet was obtained as a ready-to-hatch egg)
"Age: 9 Days
Maturity: Adolescent (604/648)
Profile Views: 101" (<^ this pet has had two Pies used on him, so he has a much higher Maturity than Age)


From the moment you breed an egg, it's 27 days to adulthood, but this can be shortened with successful Nurturing (Eggling stage) and Page views (Hatchling stage, though a) this cuts into the amount of time you have to get Nurtures to boost the hatchling's stats, and b) I don't know how many views of a pet's page it takes to actually affect the maturity)
