I know you can pay 50 diamonds to get pets you released back, but can you somehow get other people's released pets?
I'm just curious.

I don't believe so. If you go on a released pet's page (that you did not release) there is no button to get them back.

In a roundabout way, it's possible, but to get someone else's released pet, you would have to ask the last owner (shows up on the released pet's profile) to buy it back then sell it to you.
