I was battling in Lost Grove and during a battle I had all my pets do a "Block" and in the battle log it records my pets doing so BUT I also noticed that after the block move my tank pet did it says "Regal Cutlass's Thorn Coat did 0 points damage to .......".

I found this odd since my tank is of the water element and Thorn Coat is a finishing move for the Earth element. It doesn't seem to affect anything but I just found it a bit weird.

Is this still happening?

It's related to me trying to fix the Absorb Buffs overwriting each other - a bug that's been an issue since TLG started. I'm pretty sure I fixed that issue, but the fix seems to be causing some odd other issues.

I know why Thorncoat specifically is being triggered - but I don't know why it is... I know that doesn't make sense, haha.

But from what I can tell, it seems to be a one and done thing? Like it happens the first time when all of the data syncs up with the changes I made, but then stops happening afterwards.

Got the same bug - battle log showed my water tank somehow casting Thorncoat for 0 damage.



Edit - this just happened again a minute ago, so it's still happening for me!

Do you know what steps you take exactly to trigger this?

For me it happened when I had all my pets do a "Block" move and after that it would say, during the battle log that my Regal Cutlass' (a water element) Thorn Coat did 0 damage to whatever enemy I was battling.

It happened again when I battled later on too. But since nothing was adversely affected I figured it is just a harmless glitch but it is still odd.

I do not recall it mentioning Thorn Coat for the other pets but then again I have no other water elements in my part either.

I think this might be fixed?
