What are good selling and breeding prices for captured pets based on rarity ect

Hi! It's best to get the pet tested unless you have a genetic scanner. That way you can see how many traits it has. If it has a green star it's more then likely a common pet.

a pet that had one green star is worth basically nothing really, beyond maybe their aesthetic appearance colour wise.

Star Count correlates to Mana (excluding the Grove pets, but the Grove is post-current-plot, lv60+ content)
On regular, non-fabled pets:
= 60 base mana
= 80
= 100
= 120
and 5 is a boss and uncatchable
(let's use the green stars to be more visible on this white forum background)

while
= Common = 0 trait points
= Uncommon = 1 trait point (a single carried trait. Not usually worth much to people unless it's a newer/more recessive trait)
= Rare = 2 TP (1 vis or 2 carry.)
= Epic = 4 TP
= Legendary = 6 TP
= Mystical = 8 TP
(although I think Legendary and Mystical are only found in Astryl's vale)

Worth of pets Rare and higher can vary wildly depending on the traits.

Breeding fee is a bit different, but follows roughly the same rules, I'd expect.

Getting pets tested requires either a Genetic Test Kit (if you're doing the Egg Hunt, you can get some that way), or getting another user to do it for you- there are likely testing services in this forum)
