When I'm exploring with low level pets for weird reasons (such as getting gold from treasure chests and finding Easter Eggs), I'll click retreat for every enemy. Although, sometimes, even when I click retreat, it throws me into a battle. My pets Ermoor and Mayrkaata are now half or less than half health because of this, and I'll have to wait and/or pay gold to heal them. This is very unfair to me. Please fix it.

RNG is short for random number generator. Basically, luck just doesn't like you.

Yes just because you run away doesn't mean that the enemies don't chase you. Sometimes they do sometimes they don't... Also you progress in those zones by fighting and as far as I am aware in those areas the Easter eggs can only be found in battles.

Depends on if they mean https://www.sylestia.com/festival/event_easter/easter_egg_hunt/ eggs- which appear out of battle in the overworld map areas- or the eggs that turn in for special themed- in which case "only drop from battles".

From what I remember, the main thing that affects the success of retreating is agility. If your main pet has high agility, you are more likely to be successful. If the agility is low, it is unlikely you'll be able to retreat. But either way, there's a random factor involved in the success also.

*sigh* Then basically, I just don't like luck.

That's what I meant from those zones, judging by their level I assumed they were in either Viridian Meadows or Umbra Forest, but I guess I should have been more specific in case I was remembering area levels wrong.
