So I was thinking that perhaps it would be convenient to be able to name or nickname armor pieces. In a lot of other games I name items, not just for aesthetic purposes, but to keep track of them (So I don't sell them or do something else dumb with them on accident). Maybe some players would benefit from being able to name their items?

Usually i keep track of my equipment by having a few rules to myself on equipment (eg. keep only legendaries and above). I would also buy several more tabs to remind myself this armor is for who and whatnot. Equipment are actually pretty easy to distinguish between. You can see the differences between each in this Equipment Thread that I'm working on. Naming items in my opinion is not very necessary, besides, it'll probably take some amount of coding to work it in since there are so many pieces of armor.
