Ok, I know this is going to sound stupid but I am fed up. It is just so annoying to dig through everything to find something you posted on when in reality it's on page 20 something. Is there a menu or something that shows you all your recent posts/threads. Because if there is I need to know about it right now.

Not yet, no. Several players "bookmark" their threads in their player profiles (player icon - edit profile) for later access (see my profile for an example), and if it's run by another player, you can ask to be put on a ping list for the thread. Some of us users are petitioning for a recent threads viewer, but it hasn't been put into place yet - it'll probably be added when the site is revamped.
