Whe n I try to post a pic it shows up like this

Make sure the link to the image youre posting ends in something like .png, .jpeg, or .gif
The click the IMG button on the post editor and place it in between the image codes.

The link there is for a pet's page.
If you want a pet's image, right click the pet and hit 'copy image url'
Sylestia pet image urls look roughly like this:
