He finds an olt NightWing, more rock than scales, deep in the tunnels. Stonemover tells him the legend of a mighty dragon of old: Darkstalker.
Peacekeeper knows, and remembers, who he is - and who he was.
And then, with his last breath before the mountain claimed him, Stonemover cast perhaps the greatest piece of magic ever.
He altered events, deleted time, and sent Darkstalker back to the moment before he hatched. Jade Mountain isn't a school. The NightWings still live in Pyhirria. Darkstalker isn't a legend.
Darkstalker can see the future; the most likley timeline is the one that has already happened.
But he is offered a chance for history to see him differently, to forge himself anew. Will he take it?
