Lumeria, the city of light, ironic, as it is so far underground, the only light is from the faint remnants of magic from aboveground and the glowing purple mushrooms that can be ground into bright powder.

Its residents are called Cavedwellers, fair-skinned with eyes the color of the mushrooms. Their hair is silky and white, and they can ride giant bats, which they also take fur from for clothing, though some garments are made from giant spider silk. There is a small number of ways up to the Overcity, as they call it, but treacherous, almost impossible to reach. But there are several down. And now, humans, regular, good-to-honest humans, have fallen down, cushioned by warm updrafts of air. Could they be the answer to the prophecy carved on the roof of the cave, worn away, but in the minds of the Dwellers? And what of the mentioned danger, capable of destroying both underground and the world above?

Appearance: Long, soft white hair usually done up in a braid or tail, on a pale ombre from mushroom dust and purple magic, soft pale tan bat fur tunic from the front appearing to be a long cloth folded over at the midsection and tied with a wide pale purple belt, but the bac is covered, dark brown, loose shorts instead of a traditional silver-woven spider silk skirt, tall leather boots with strips of leather as drawstrings, and silver soles with a pair of wings on the back of each. Attatched to a loop on her pants she has a leucosapphire (clear sapphire) hilt, and she usually makes the blade. 90% of times, she has a Jack Russel Terrier sized bat on her back named Eluthe

Notes on Cavedwellers: Cavedwellers can often see very well in the dark, they have very strong senses, are strong despite appearing lithe, able to jump large distances, and many can use echolocation.

I'm curious to see what a dog sized bat would look like in real life. So floofy O.o

Smallish dog. Undercity bats are the size of adult flying foxes as babies. Just think of a Jack Russel Terrier dangling on your back 24/7.
