There's a species that have the abilities to find their soul mates, this first requires them to take a test in their early teenage years, some die due to this. There are a few people who have survived this test, however, their soul mates have not and they are told that they will spend their lives alone. They have to try to cope with this and possibly try to break the rules of their own species.

Their names are Crayus Lupilius. They look like a human however they do have a wolf form which they can change into once a week for a whole day. Sometimes they can get stuck in this form which means that they can only be with their soulmate once per week when they can also become a wolf. They can also create and manipulate silver fire, which is a bit stronger than regular fire.

Alexandra sat perched on the largest branch of a tree that was situated just beside her small village. She sat there, looking over the busy life, different people wandered through the streets, popping into shops as they went. She hopped down from the tree, walking slowly towards a nice little cottage that stood, seperated from the rest. With ivy growing up it's walls and a gentle blue door, the edges of the windows painted a deep cinnamon. She opened the door slowly, looking back once more, at the village.

~Matthew~

Matthew growled quietly, his jaw clenched shut, he was listening to another lecture from his mum. All about how stupid he was not to have let his soulmate die. She didn't understand, neither of them did. He slammed his fist down onto the coffee table, startling his mum an giving him an opportunity to slip out of the house without getting any more hassle. He stormed down the street, his ears practically steaming.

Blue drew stick figures in the dirt. She giggled. She looked up and saw a couple walk by. She recognized one of them to be one of the orphans at her old orphanage. She saw them look her way and whisper something to each other and knew it was about her. She stood up and approached them. They paused and seemed a little surprised. She opened her mouth to say something, but closed it quickly. She smiled awkwardly then walked away.

Matthew slumped onto some steps, letting out a loud sigh. He chewed his thumbnail, staring down at the ground. othing could get him out of the mood he was in... That much was sure to him.

Blue picked up a rock and threw it aimlessly. She kicked up some dirt. She wished her soulmate had been a little stronger, then maybe she wouldnt be in this predicament.

A rock tumbled to Matthew's feet and he looked up to see where it came from and noticed an equally sad-looking girl. He smiled awkwardly at her, waving slightly.

Blue looked at him. She gave a weak smile and waved back.

He looked back down to the ground, unsure of how to react.

She walked over to him. Having a bad day? she asked quietly.

"Yeah, I guess, but isn't every day?" He sighed, rubbing the corner of his eye.

Well.... I am Blue. Nice to meet ya. she said. She held out her hand. She smiled.
