Welcome to the Midnight Whispers Roleplay! This starts in a world not so different from this one, but galaxies away. Or so it seems.

The world is at war, fighting over something no one remembers. It seems we will destroy ourselves when ten step foreward. They claim to have the Sight, a mysterious power that allows them to see the past, present, and future. And change it. But even now, the Whisper is contaminating some of them. It gets to them and is turning them into a force set on one goal: destroy Earth and all its inhabitants.

Five will turn on five in an epic battle. And in the end, only one will be left standing.

Jay is surprisingly short, standing at a short 52. Because of this, she often floats, both because it takes little energy, and she is secretly embarrassed about her height. Her arms are covered with strange runes matching those on her daggers, and also has markings lining her cheekbones. When she is using her powers, the runes glow a pale blue color, rather than the pure black that they normally are.
Personality: Jay is analytical and cold, being particularly paranoid about human interaction. But when being with people she trusts (a rare occurrence), she is protective and cuddly.
Bio: Jay was raised away from civilization, having been born on a mountain. She knows how to survive in the most cutthroat of wildernesses, but the same cannot be said for socializing. She has no recollection of receiving the runes on her skin, but can translate what they say.
Likes: Sketching, sleeping, and birds in general.
Dislikes: Crowded areas, loud noises, and being underground.
Strengths: Speed, survival skills, and flight.
Weaknesses: Weaker below ground, paranoid, and has a crippling fear of being trapped.

Personality: Brave and a risk taker. She's not exactly the most bubbly and sweet person and usually makes sarcastic or snappish comments.
Bio: She lived almost her whole life with her family, who are a group of were-animals like her. They have to stay hidden from society and therefore live in a secluded building near a mountain.
Likes: Any canine. She also likes swimming in her human and animal form, and painting.
Dislikes: Heather hates staying still or doing nothing. She can't stand people who talk excessively either. She hates cats.
Strengths: She's quick and fast on her feet. Heather is skilled with most blades. She is convincing and can be charismatic if she wants to.
Weaknesses: Fire, she has a terrible fear of raging fire. She also is scared of heights and isn't the strongest person around.
Special abilities: She is a were-animal and can turn into a dog. Her dog form is an unknown breed and seems to be a mix of multiple breeds. While in her human form she has heightened senses.

Appearance: No one knows what color her hair really is because it is always dyed, some times brown or gold or black and sometimes brighter, bolder colors like green, blue, or pink. Her eyes are an unnerving shade of violet and uptilted, with high cheekbones and sharp features, she has often been describes as stunning and striking. She is rather tall, 5foot 11, but she doesn't mind. Astryl is tough, hard and lean, and just as good with one weapon or another. She had a permanant limp from a gunshot wound.
Personality: Astryl is cool, calm, and 'bombsteady' you might say. She always keeps a clear head in a battle and makes an excellent commander, as well as a serious stratigest. When she is not working, she is funny, sweet, and loyal, but the war haas turned Astryl hard and cold.
Bio: Astryl tore down the street, gunfire still ringing in her ears. She would never forget it, watching her friends and family getting shot down all around her. Footsteps thudded behind her then a bang... pain, terrible pain in her leg, the rough street rising up to meet her, then blackness, and she welcomed it, for it took away the white hot fire in her leg... That was seven years ago. Astryl was ten. Ever since, she laid low, causing as much damage to her enemies as she could. When her Sight began to develop she came out and began to seek out the other nine. Her powers are stronger than most, so she knows who will survive, but she will never say.
