Many years ago when, too many for any mortal to remember, I brought life unto to the world. My father made this lovely plain for me, and me alone though after many of years it grew lonely, and I sought out a company. Even being immortal as I was life still seemed to have no meaning if I was alone. I took it upon myself to bore from my blood and body each of the races, uniting there kings and queens whom were my closet of children. Deacon my eldest elf son and the king followed by Amors the queen of the elves, Margol the king and Edlen the queen of man, Rog the king and Borla the queen of the orcs, Domo king of halflings and Frinda his queen, and lastly Grimly king of dwarves and his wife Carvosa. Life was joyful and caring though in my effort to make a company for myself I exhausted myself, thus was unable to watch over the land I had filled. My children went on leading their races in a glorious age that man called EverLight, for the sun and moon seemed to shine almost in unison. It wasn't long after that though that a power, a lust for it even washed over my eldest son. He grew envious of Margol thus waged a war with him over a bit of land. I watched powerless as they fought, as the blood seemed into the ground and spoiled it. From the rage came the nasty things in life. With the soil spoiled dangerous, and hurtful plants grew up reaching for the air as if they wished to rip it down. Illness broke out, making many suffer and die, and some of the animals grew a taste for blood. This filled my heart with sorrow which only led to my grip of the world fading more. Deacon grew a dark power that his sons and daughters inherited, yet some learned to fight it off and learn to be good again. These elves joined the reaches with the men, helping them rise against Deacon's forces. It took over a thousand years to finally kill the forces of evil off thus purifying the world. All was peaceful at last...though now it seems to be slipping down again into darkness.
A new darkness is rising, like none I have ever felt. With my powers weak, and life fading I'm calling upon on chosen from each race, one with the purest of hearts to aid me in this grave fight. All of the races are forced now to live inside of the walls they built, in a failing attempt to keep the darkness out. Despite this our story begins just a little before my callings, at the world wide festival held in my honor. Everyone is there, save for those of bad intent, feasting and being merry with each other as they should. You all are there, I'm meerly waiting for fate to lead you to one another. I will send my message soon, but for now we all must wait.
