I caught a snow coal vul in the fest zone, and she didn't appear in my stables or hatchery. I refreshed several times, and checked on adv search, so I'm 90% sure it's not a wifi thing. Anything you can do? I promised her to someone and she ate a few traps.

No, she ate like 2 and the third caught her. I know it said I caught her. I have a distinct memory of it.

You can always verify a successful trap by reviewing the battle log.
If it's successful, it will say so and provide a link directly to the new pet's profile page that you can click.
If you didn't end up with the pet, then it must have ran away.
