On a moon lit night, a young female lupora howled loud and clear. she wished to start her own pack, and was searching for new members far and wide. All were welcome, no matter their history or previous rank. Ranks were to be decided through a series of tests and challanges. No one would be excluded, left out, or ever pushed away.

The Ranks (will be updated as time goes on):

Alphas
2 per pack (1 male, 1 female (taken))
Alphas are the lead wolves of the packs, and a pack must have at least ONE Alpha wolf. If there is an Alpha pair, they may become mates. If an order is given by an Alpha, that order is followed. End of story. Any wolf who questions the Alpha's choice is open to the Alpha's wrath, should the Alpha decide to be vengeful. It is the Alpha pairs responsibility to look after their pack. All Alphas have a lot of responsibility and are asked to keep up and interact with their pack as much as possible.

Betas
2 (1 male, 1 female)
The Betas have the second highest ranking in a wolf pack. Betas can breed between eachother (only within their pack) and can have puppies only if they get permission from their Alpha(s). The job of the Betas is to serve as an advisor/helper to the Alpha(s) exclusively, and to help them greet newcomers to the pack.

Delta
2 (male & female)
The Deltas are essential to the pack. They act as mediators (eg. helping to resolve disagreements), messengers (taking messages between pack members or between packs) and counselors (helping pack members with any troubles they might have). Deltas, if given permission by the Alpha(s), may also greet newcomers on the borders should things get to hectic for the Alphas and Betas. Being a Delta is a lot of work, but it's also a lot of fun. Deltas love to start group howls and play when they're not working, and as a Delta it is your job also to help newcomers feel at home in their new pack. If you are going to be a semi-inactive player, or elusive online, then becoming a Delta is not the job for you.

Gamma
2 (male & female)
The job of a Gamma is that of a pack protector, if you will. The Gammas are responsible for making sure that everything is safe in their pack's territory, and that there are no dangers to their pack. Gamma should try and meet with other pack members every so often to report and make sure that nothing's wrong, and if something IS wrong, they should either try and solve it as a group or notify the highest ranking wolf available at the time. Gammas are generally elusive and not seen as much as some other members of the pack, but their role is very important.

Warriors (unlimited)- warriors, as the name implies, protect the pack. They are tough, thick minded and unafraid to defend what is theirs. More often then not they are covered in battle scars and old wounds from fights.

Hunters (unlimited) - Hunters are skilled trackers, able to find and stalk their chosen prey for miles. They are also strong willed and patient, able to remain still for hours on end, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. They are often not seen among the pack, unless returning home from a hunt.

Den Mother - (unlimited, females only) - den mothers take care of the pups amd egglings whule theparents are performing duties for the pack. They are generally females who don't wish to fight or hunt, for whatever reason. They are quite calm, loving amd relaxed.

Packmate
(Unlimited)
A miscelanious rank for the wolf that was not seen fit to hold other positions by the Alpha just yet. This is generally the rank given to newcomers, and the wolves
here are promoted later as the Alphas and Betas see fit. Packmates just sort of "float", helping out here and there but not having a specific purpose. Packmates are usually playful and friendly, loving to romp about in all their free time etc.

History: He was a hunter until a fight rendered him blind in both eyes, he was forced to retire way early, sleeping through most of his days he began seeing visions and omens, he became the 'mad wolf' of his pack, he was tormented by everyone until he was banished for having the bravery to bite back at an attacker, he spent months wandering and meditating, fully accepting his abilities

Preferred Rank: Hunter, probably Pack Healer as he had time to study plants and mental health

Strengths: Extremely great hearing and smell, he may be blind but he can track prey for longer

Weaknesses: Blindness, being reminded of his past makes him want to be alone

Hi! I would put him down as pack healer, because of his abilities then. Seeing as this is more of a sylestian based RPG, and not an actual wolf pack, certain wolves will be granted different... abilities of sorts. But be careful not to go overboard on this please!

Is healer an avalible rank? If so, save me a female character? If not, I'll be a warrior.

There is only one healer, a rank given to a character with certain characteristics. Unfortunately that spot is taken. Now, you can reserve a spot, but ranks are chosen depending on the challanges that will take place when there are enough people.

Personality: Shade is quite mysterious. He is quiet and follows orders from his alpha. He seems emotionless, however he is actually quite kind, he just has troubles expressing what he is thinking or feeling. He prefers to do things by himself as he is still trying to get used to teamwork. He can be quite secretive sometimes.
History: Shade's mother was a loner, so he'd never been in a pack before. His father was part of a pack, however, Shade's mother never told him anything about his father.
