Prophecy:

Chapter 1: A Night For Bloodshed
Talonstar looked up at the bright moon. She twitched an ear, being careful to keep her shredded one still.
"Oh. Hi Fallowstar." She said, leaping up into the Sun Burst Tree, which still has its huge, bright red, orange, and yellow leaves. Fallowstar dipped his head.
"Talonstar." His grey coat shined white, blending in with the white splotches in his fur. "Now we wait for Tigerstar. Geez, his name gives me shivers. Like the Tigerclan from warrior history." Talonstar nodded.
She looked at the cats of all clans, all of whom were acting like they were one huge clan. All except for Solarclan.
"Where are they anyway?" Stripestar asked, slinking closer to the two cats. "They're never late! They're first here most of the time!" Talonstar shrugged, and Fallowstar let out a purr.
"Patience, Stripestar." Fallowstar said, slowly touching his tail to Talonstar's, and slowly she twined her tail with his. This love was forbidden, but...
"Talonstar! Fallowstar! Look out!" Stripestar yowled, and Tigerstar lunged from out of the thick foliage of the tree. He locked his claws around Talonstar. Digging his claws into her side, he narrowed his eyes at the rest of the panicked clans.
"Now, fellow clans! I have come here to warn you! To warm you of a shadow! Of a deathly fog!" Tigerstar yowled loudly, silencing everyone but his clanmates, who murmured to each other as they began to circle the tree
"Get! Off! Talonstar!" Fallowstar yowled. Tigerstar began laughing.
"You don't get it." He said, placing his claws on Talonstar's throat, slowly piercing the fur and skin.
"What do you want Tigerstar?!" Talonstar cried in fear.
"Everyone's kits to be safe!" He slowly dug his claws into her throat, ripping away her second to last life.
"Does anyone want to hear about the prophecy Tigerstar has to share with you all?! If you do, then shut up!" Ravenfur yowled from the circle of cats.

"But that's not it!" Tigerstar yelled, at the surprised, panicked, jumpy cats. "Tell them, Poppyshine! Let everyone know!"
The medicine Cat stepped forward.
"Yes, I also know of this dream. In it, we saw fog. A red tinted fog. And... out of the fog came Talonstar! And we know we are right! We know!"
"How?!" Duskpaw yelled from the crowd of cats. Several cats scattered, and gave Duskpaw a path straight to the Sun Burst Tree. "You can't acuse my leader of something so heinous! She is loyal and kind! If you don't believe me, as my clan! Ask anyone!"
"Oh, a mere apprentice. Well, lemme tell you. Look at the sky." Tigerstar chuckled, and everyone looked up at the clear night sky. "Do you see a single cloud in that sky?" He asked. Nobody said anything. "I SAID DO YOU SEE ANY CLOUDS?!" He yowled.
"Y-y-you... you could've convinced Starclan to not do anything! You might be the Bloodshadow! Who else thinks this?!" Silence. "A-Anyone?!" He yowled into the quiet. He turned and looked at his clan. They all looked down, or away. "C-come on guys! Where is your loyalty!?" He stalked up to his mother. "Sunsplash! You must believe in our leader!"
"Duskpaw, I'm so-"
"NO! TALONSTAR IS OUR LEADER. AND SHE'D NEVER BETRAY US!" Duskpaw yelled, and Sunsplash winced. Duskpaw turned back to the Sun Burst Tree. "Fallowstar!?"
Fallowstar sighed.
"We can't deny Starclan's will."
"What if they're wrong?!"
Gasps arose from the cats around the tree. Tigerstar narrowed his eyes at the apprentice.
"Mouse brain! Don't deny Starclan's all knowing power!" Sunsplash yowled, tackling her son. "I never taught you this way!" She grabbed him by his scruff, and dragged him off to the edge of the clearing, making Tigerstar look wildly around.
"ANYONE. ELSE?" Everyone shook their heads in sync. "Well then." Clearing his throat, he said to the clans, "So. I say we kill this fox heart." Several cats cheered. Most cats just made noises of fear. But nobody else made any objections.
"Good." He purred.
"Wait!" Fallowstar yowled. "Wait. Maybe Starclan just wanted you to take away one life? Not the last two? Only-"
"Are you standing up for this possible murderer?!" Tigerstar snarled. Fallowstar swallowed.
"Not just that. I, Fallowstar... I call for a clan shield." Fallowstar said. Only the deputies and medicine cats gasped. The rest of the clan cats murmured in confusion. Duskpaw ripped out of his mothers fierce hold.
"I volunteer!"
"Fine. If you win, Talonstar lives. Otherwise, I kill her." Tigerstar said with a grin.
"Who is your champion?" Fallowstar asked.
"Scartear." He said, his tail swishing. A huge, muscular tom walked out of the crowd, and made Duskpaw look like a kit. Scars covered his fur, and his ears were shredded, almost as much as his nose/muzzle.
"Claws unsheathed! Teeth bared! And... fight!" Tigerstar roared.
