I decided to use a Philter of Trait Disruption (Themed)] on my harvest moon kelpari because I didn't like one of it's hidden traits.
It had 2 vis and 2 hidden but when I used the philter it got rid of my hidden traits! Now it only has 2 vis ;(
Is this supposed to happen? Could I get help on this?

I'm pretty sure it wasn't possible to get two carried traits on these pets? If you meant *hidden* traits (as in traits that are hidden under visible traits) then having them disappear is a normal possibility for trait disruption. Trait disruptors can give hiddens to pets that previously had only pure visibles and give pure visibles to pets that had a visible with a hidden trait underneath.

Just to help you being clear in the future, on this site 'visible' means you can see it (obviously), hidden means a trait that is technically carried under the visible, but carried generally is reserved for traits that are not visible on the pet and do not have a visible over top of them (on the advanced search visibles with no hiddens are blue, visibles with hiddens are purple, and carrieds are green). While hiddens are technically carries, the terminology difference helps us keep straight what people are talking about when they say their pets have '2 visibles and 2 carries' vs '2 visibles with 2 hiddens' (one having 4 slots with traits, the other having 2 slots with traits).
