Welcome to the land of Shadows, once a flourishing kingdom of magic it has now fallen into despair with the rise of the current ruler of the shadows. The original royal family slaughtered on the night the new ruler conquered the kingdom with only the youngest two - a boy and a girl - escaping. Lead out by a servant not much older than them. Not long after rebels rose only to be quickly crushed. Years later the kingdom lies in wait, - it's radiant beauty lost to the shadows that conquered - waiting for the lost prince or princess to rise and lead them to an era of peace. This is the kingdom you are part of, ruled over by a tyrannical dictator with so many of the civilisation on his side, the rebels are a mere annoyance at this point in time - numbering less than fifty in total - and the lost royals are lost to myth with many doubting they survived the night. Blue paced back and forth. "It is getting harder and harder to lead this rebellion." she mumbled.

Silver wandered into the room and dumped her bag on the floor. "At least you don't have a price on your head and half the kingdom looking for you to turn you in and the other half looking to you as a leader" She retorted "Well, you do have the second half but still! It's not like I asked to be born where I was or to survive that night"

Blue smiled. Sorry your life is hard, but all of our lives are right now. At least they look to you as a leader instead of think you are unfit to lead. Im eighteen and just barely know how to lead these people. Never was the best leader, I am easily distracted. I ran straight into this, blinded by hate and rage, now I am supposed to lead a rebellion so that eventually you or your brother can take back the crown. she said. Her smile stayed on her face. She did her best to remain cheerful

"More likely to be Yutu rather than me. e's the boy after all, then again with the way he acts half the time I wouldn't be surprised if it was me they picked. But i'm sixteen and I'm even worse at the leadership stuff than you are. For the past ten years the only regularity in my life has been Yutu and Soraha." She let out a short laugh. "A fine group of leaders we make. A paranoid boy, an emotionally stunted girl and an impulsive one. Heck, the only sane person on this leadership thing is Lynn and I wouldn't be surprised if something came up with her as well."

"Did I hear my name?" Lynn wondered, walking into the tent where the Princess was. She bowed briskly out of habit, even though they were the same age. Her hair was up in a tight bun, not a strand in her face. She planted her hands on her hips, smirking. "What's wrong? Silver? Blue?"

Silver looked up and smirked slightly "Oh nothing, just talking about how we're a horrible leadership team, that being you, me, Blue and my brother. Well more me, Blue and Yutu but still"

Sorha stayed behind Silver, with a nervous look in her eyes. What if something attacked them?

The camp seemed rather quiet for this time of day. Snag watched as the occupants all gathered before slipping from the rock he had been perched on. Running only fours he carefully slithered his thin furry body into one of the tents. Now where did they keep the food?

"Hi stranger!" Alan approaches, seems to appear out of nowhere "You look funny"
