some of my pets aren't giving me the option to use philters at all, even though they meet the criteria(they're themed, they've never been bred) is it because of their age?most of them are hatchlings

Depends on the pets and the philters.

Sorry, the pet is a Dark Waters Sylovorpa and the philter is a Philter of trait disruption (themed)

If they are hatchlings and are not genetically tested, you would not be able to use philters on them, because you won't be able to See what mutations they have at that stage, unless they have been genetically tested.
