The storm hit suddenly, and without much warning. waves splashed at the sides of the ship violently, threatening to tip the boat. This area was known as being a graveyard for ships, but that didn't stop people from trying to travel through and navigate it. Large, jagged, and dangerous rocks loomed in the distance, the waves slowing pushing the boat towards them.

The mermaid kingdom lived in secrecy, avoiding the terrifying humans at all costs, human ships in mermaid capital territory are killed on sight. The humans once discovered a mermaid skeleton, and are now hunting to prove the existence of mermaids.

Belle watched as the ship rocked back and frothed, narrowly avoiding breaking. When a burly sailor stumbled, she hit the deck and rolled, up again to check the path ahead. The boom swung dangerously and the entire thing creaked like a sick yak. "We need to turn back!"

Karrina curiously looked over the edge of the trench, which led to the deep seafloor, where the deepsea lived. She had always wanted to see a deepsea mermaid, but none lived near her town, so she had never gotten the chance. All she had seen were statues, carvings, and pictures, as well as hearing rumors, but she always wanted to meet one for herself. Taking a nervous breathe through her gills, she began swimming down, hoping nothing dangerous would attack her

"Be ready! It's rough here!" Ren shouted. His voice almost lost to the storm. He had never been one to give up. He knew it was dangerous. Everyone in the shop was aware of that. He was unsure if they would make it through. He knew it was going to be quite difficult to navigate. He could see the rocks getting closer. "If this is the last thing I remember before I die... I am going to make sure it's not me going down easily." Ren said

David and Alice were out in the ocean. They heard the storm in the distance. "What if it strikes here?" David asked. Alice just shook her head. She didn't think it was going to get close enough. He fiddled around with a shell that he had picked up. She knew it was dangerous to go out there during a storm.

Serenity was terrified. She clung onto her hat and whatever else she could hold onto to keep her light body from flying away. "But maybe the mermaids will save us! What if they have the power to make us mermaids! we have to find them!" Serenity argued despite wanting to get out of the storm to safety

Luminesce: The deep sea paused, watching her swimming closer. Thinking she was trouble, she willed her lights, from her tail to her hair, to blink out.


Belle: Meanwhile, Belle was jumping from place to place like a monkey, trying to secure the sails and directing people in hopes that they would make it out alive.

Risza, using the cover of the storm as her advantage, headed out into the light sea. She gave herself a few moments to adjust to the sudden change in light. Turning off her glowing scales. She began to explore what she assumed was a mershark territory.

Axi looked on nervously, then gestured to Pika. The little amphibian swam up, as fast as its little legs could

Karrina looked around, a little nervous to call out in case something attacked, but decided to try anyways "Hello? is anyone there?" She called out into the abyss quietly, unable to see anything except the small crack in the sky where she swam in from

Alice started heading back towards the cave but didn't make sure David was following. He started swimming towards the storm. He wasn't going to let her tell him that he couldn't swim out there. He wanted to see what was happening. He was sure he was strong enough to fight against the waves. He closed his eyes as he swam. He kept the shell in his hand. He smiled as he spinned in the water. He loved the way the water felt. He opened his eyes and his eyes widened. He had already gotten so much farther. He started to get nervous.

"Hello?" David called out. He saw something through the rocks. He bobbed to the surface. He turned his head to the side curiously.

Ren looked at the girl. "You're absurd! There is no such thing as mermaids! They won't come save us! We have to save ourselves!" Ren shouted. David heard that and started swimming inbetween the rocks as fast as he could. People were in danger. Alice realized her brother was gone and she cursed.
