I know you need a Philter of Amnesia which I have and I bought one. But I clicked on it in my inventory, picked the pet I wanted to use it on and it wouldnt let me use the item. soooo How do I apply the Amnesia to a Sylesti?

You go onto the pet's profile. Then see the Information box? Click on genetic philter and use it on the sylesti.
