OK, so I have an Absurdly large amount of Un-named pets and it's driving me crazy. So this is how it works pick any un-named pet and tell me the name you think suits it, be sure to include an image, a link, or a pet ID number that way i now which pet you want to name. Once i name the pet, you can ether pick a pet from the last tab in my stables or my hatchery. All the pets in my hatchery are up for grabs once you name a pet. If the pet you named is in the last stable tab or the hatchery you could even take that pet, any other ones you can not. You can also pick two pets and i can give you their offspring.

I like it, you can pick a pair to breed or a pet from the last stable tab or a pet from my hatchery
