In silence she waited at the meeting place the others had agreed on. Many of the others were not the same species as her, though they all agreed that they would travel together due to their common goal. So now she sat in the clearing waiting for the others, all the time fretting over whether or not the others were actually going to show up or not.

Oisin: Leaves crunched, and a massive stag with red fur stepped out, head held high, but alert. "I am Oisin. Who are you?" His brown eyes looked at her curiously, before scanning the area as he paced, sniffing and ears twitching.

Blue came to the meeting place. "Hi!" She said excitedly.

The female jumped to her feet snorting a bit. "Oh...I'm Juniper. I see two of the herd have made it, that's at least some form of hope...." She said with a sigh of relief.

Willow: A beautiful piebald doe skidded into the small clearing. She snorted, hooves bouncing in place. The white-tailed deer tossed her head and glared at the group. "Make that three. I'm Willow." Willow looked at the others, examining the few fallen trees, the small rocks, and a large-ish boulder, which she clambered to the top of. "Are more coming?"

Oisin: "I believe so."

*Jasper*

I walk into the clearing, the agreed meeting place. My mother, Rana, follows close behind and I glance back at her frequently.

Oisin: The red stag turned to greet the newcomers. "Hi."

Willow: Willow stared at the new stag, a white-tail like her. The piebald doe leaped off the rock and skidded to a stop in front of him. "Are you here to find the herd of ghosts?" Her gaze challenged him, but the aggression she showed by her stance and tone of voice was betrayed by her eyes, much too frightened and tired.

I nod to her.
"Yes. My name is Jasper and my mother Rana and I have come to seek the Herd" I say. I help Rana into the clearing where she lies down with a sigh, but keeps her head up, gazing steadily with great wisdom at the others. I stand beside her protectively.

"Blue! There you are! I've been looking all over for you!" August said stepping in the clearing. His champagne color fur twinkled in the light as he stood a ways off from the others. "Is this the herd we are traveling with?"

Willow: The piebald doe had to catch herself as her gaze trailed after him. She found herself curling up in moss by the rock, staring at the sky, where the sun was ever so slightly sinking, bit by bit.

Oisin: The stag approached the newcomers. "I am Oisin (pronounced UH sheen)." He stood by the elder deer. "It is nice to meet you."
