"Earth is all but a distant memory, the land having nearly killed itself long ago when the people on it become greedy killing the land they called home. Only a few with connections escaped, those being the ones that found there were more out there than just us. Millions, even billions of miles away a whole new solar system was going on about their lives. This system is full of everything from wealthy businessman to petty theives. I am one of those people that managed to escape earth though it wasn't through a means that I could have managed on my own. No you see my father, God rest his soul, was not of earth so when he heard that earth was going to ****** well he sent a ship to rescue me. That was a pleasant change if you ask me. Though he wasn't exactly the best role model, that's saying that his crew whom raised me mind you, were thieves. That means I learned from the galaxy's best bandits. Of course thieving runs in my veins so when I heard of a gem called the galaxy stone that could be worth millions of quids I knew that I had to be the one to find is resting place and get it. It just so happens as well that my father had come across a map leading to the exact location of this stone. Now though I still have a bit of a problem...I don't have a crew to help me retrieve it. So you in or what? Fill out the paper work and I may get around to looking at it alright?" Lazily the man tosses you a packet.

So basically this is like The Guardians of the Galaxy. You can be any race EXCEPT HUMAN. I don't care if you are a two legged giraffe with wings as long as you aren't human.

Steven stands about 5'7 and holds himself as a person that is happy go lucky attitude. The eyes were meant to be green, though doesn't seem they showed up very well. He wears a light blue jumpsuit most of the time with a leather bomber jacket over it along with a pair of gloves meant to protect his hands from the climate out in space. A pair of cargo pants cover his legs and tall mid calf boots adorn his feet. He does sport a scar on his right eyebrow though he doesn't say where he got it exactly. He also carries a backpack (The kind meant to just go over one shoulder) that serves as a pack and a space pack for travel outside the ship. The pack is black and read in color. Last thing is the thin and worn leather bracelet he wears on his left wrist, the thing having belonged to his mother.
Strengths: excellent marksman with any weapon, thievery runs deep in his veins making him one of the galaxy's best thieves, knows the galaxy quite well along with where and when you need to be careful
Weaknesses: he tends to get a bit distracted by women and can be a bit of an******at the best of times. When he gets mad he tends to lose control, especially in a fight. He is also unable to swim and has leporiphobia or the fear of rabbits (space and earthly rabbits). He is also a bad gambler, and has a tendency to not be able to turn up a drink.
Weapon of Choice: the laser pistol that his father has given him, though he can shoot any weapon given to him
Position on Ship: captain
Backstory: After leaving earth he was put to work on his father's ship until he graduated to a full thief and a valued asset of the crew, though he never actually go to meet his father. Right after his first heist though his father was captured and killed before his eyes by the Nova Corp. It was a hard hit to the crew and they fought valiantly to avenge the death of their captain but each failed all the same. Steven was left alone then with no crew left a a whole ship to run, not to mention that he had a bounty on his head now making him a walking target. To make matters worse he found that his father was killed not for his deeds but because of a map that he had aboard the ship. Angry now with himself and the Nova Corp Steven has set his mind to finding this Galaxy Stone, though first he will need to arrange a crew to help him do so.

Strengths: Martin is a skilled fighter due to his military training, though he's a bit slow and stiff due to age. With the aid of his extra legs he is able to climb and jump better than normal humans can, and they allow him to be able to run faster as well. Martin is strong and very capable of holding his own.
Weaknesses: His age is a bit weakness, for his species tends to age as humans do for the most part. He's no spring chicken anymore and on cold mornings can feel it. He's also not that book smart, nor is he really that good at thinking out complicated problems.
Weapon of Choice: spear with a electro blade attached for stunning

Backstory: He grew up with parents that wanted the best for him, and wanted a war hero. He trained day in and day out to get to the highest point in the military when the accident happened. He led his troops into an ambush without thinking and ended up getting them all captured and killed before he gave up the location of the camp. For this he was cort marshaled, and punished with the death penalty. Before he was rescued he broke himself free and ran for it. Now he is wanted on war crimes.
