Blue reached the assembly hall and sat in the back row. Rosy jumped up onto the seat next to her. Blue pet Rosy as she waited for the welcome speech to begin.

Today is going to be a new experience, Angela thought. She walked through the school, and after becoming dislocated a couple of times, she managed to find the auditorium where the orientation would be happening.
She went over and sat at the end of the first row.

Rosy growled at the boy. "No Rosy, you don't bite our classmates! Hi, I'm Blue and this is Rosy." Blue said politely. Rosy continued growling at the boy. "Please, forgive Rosy, she really dislikes strangers. I wish to apologize ahead of time for the fingers she may bite off your hand." She said with a smile.
