I don't have long...they found us again. How long can we keep running before our luck runs out? God if they get their hands of these kids. We are headed south for the coast maybe we will lose them in the boat. There is something you need to know. These people they aren't right, they aren't human. I think their mutants. I wasn't paid to put up with this! God I'm such an idiot! Either way they offered me more money not to tell. My lips are sealed. Whom ever is reading this please know that if you are I'm dead. If the children are here-get them to the coast at all costs. Repeat-at all costs.

One year earlier-

The day was Tuesday, the time 10:45 am. It was another day, the same school. Everyone was in class though it was almost lunch hour thus every child was restless. The teacher was blabbering on and on about something that had to do with math or the likes when the bell blared overhead releasing the children into the courtyard. This is how it was everyday. It may seem normal though these kids were far from it. Each has their own power, all are different in some way. It was peaceful, normal. But that was about to change, a storm is coming. It's gales will tear everything apart, leaving nothing behind but destruction. No one will be spared, only the strongest will survive.

So um not much to tell. This is a X-men mutant role play in which we play as mutants (aging 8-65 wide range I know) that are escaping the mass execution of mutants. The school will be attacked in one to two days time from the start of the role play so it will move pretty quick. Please only play one character, and ask to play a normal human that will help them of possible. I will be playing two characters the guide and a child (please don't be mad at me!). Please use your own characters, don't use like Wolverine or Xavier, same goes for powers try to make your own. I understand some are common but don't use (example) a girl with claws like Wolverine's. And DONT (repeat DONT) make your character too strong such as everyone they look at dies instantly, EVERY power has its weakness. Okay so I lied that's a bit to read but it covers the basics and to make sure you read it I want you to put the word redrum in your form.

Name: Darci Owens
Age: 12 years
Gender: female
Power: she is able to produce blade like structures from her wrists that measure 12 inches in length
Power weakness: she can only use the blades in a time of extreme emotional destress such as when she is frightened or angry. Her wrists bleed as well when she used the blades though the wounds heal fairly quickly it still hurts like hell.
Strengths: she is fast on her feet due to her size and is use to staying hidden from sight. Darci knows her way around most towns and knows how to navigate to stay clear of crowded areas. This girl is street smart and can hold her own in a fight if it means living another day.
Weaknesses: Trusting people is hard for her to do even when it is her only option. Despite being street smart she lacks the ability to learn most normal skills such as reading and writing. Most of the time she tries to be emotionless though she tries to hard thus she causes more attacks to happen. She also has trouble controlling her anger making her a very dangerous person to be around.
Personality: Darci is really a sweet child despite all that has happened to her. She cares about her companions and likes to have a few people as company. She may be a bit soft spoken at times but she will let her voice be heard if it will benefit others.
Backstory: When she was little her parents loved her with all of their hearts though when they found that she was a mutant they literally threw her away. In a hope that she would just die away so no one knew what happened they drugged her, tied her up, and drove her the some odd miles to the next town where they threw her into a dumpster and left her. Awaking panicked she easily cut her binds and freed herself. No one in the city knew whom she was, and many just didn't care. The few whom did were scared away when the blades came from her wrists. For years she roamed the streets learning to steal and hide from the cops. Then she met Myles. He offered her a place where there were many like her and he wasn't afraid of her power, in fact he had a power of his own. He brought he to the school where she made friends and could live normally without fear. That is until now.
Kin: she cares not for her parents, and sees Myles more like a big brother despite him not being related to her.
Other: all she wants in life in a family that loves her.

Gender: Female.
Power: Bug communication, bug control, and teleportation.
Power weakness: Her teleportation only works on bugs(insects, arachnids, and centipedes) and its limited to a range of a small town. For "Bug Control", the control on the bugs is kind of like enhanced persuasion.
Strengths: She has extensive knowledge about bugs and she is quite skilled at gymnastics.
Weaknesses: Her attention span is limited as she is almost constantly listening into several bugs' conversations. Her temper can be... quite painful(meaning that you might have itchy bugs underneath your clothes).
Personality: Out going, somewhat aloof, and a wee bit of a know-it-all.
Backstory (optional): Her mother died when she was young. In a strand of irony, her father was actually a bug exterminator. She was high school captain of her school's gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics teams all four years.
Kin: Her mother died when she was young and her father died of a heart attack after she graduated high school.
Other: She has a pet Tarantula named "Fluffy". Zoe carries him around like a parrot and Fluffy is very protective of her.

Power: Blood Manipulation: (Can manipulate temp, movement of blood, etc)
Power weakness: It is very strenuous on him, and if overused, he can end up killing himself from the strain it puts on his own heart and body. He can't maintain/keep it up for extended periods of time

Strengths: He's fit, and physically adept. Quick on his feet and nimble. He's independent and competent; capable of taking care of himself
Weaknesses: He has a tendency to be rash, will often say things that he regrets, and has a hard time holding his tongue. Pride is another issue with him. He has quite the temper, too.

Personality: Despite the fact that he refuses to show it, he actually has a big heart for others.His sarcastic nature tends to get him in trouble at times, and he can be too independent at times, making it hard for others to trust him. He has a hard time expressing his feelings and will often make rude, or biting remarks toward people. In a way, it's to protect his feelings by not letting others in. Alas, he usually ends up driving them away.

Backstory (optional): Kaede never knew his father. His mother had a short, one-night affair with a handsome Italian man she met while on vacation. His mother is half-Japanese (father's side) and half Italian, making Kaede three-quarters Italian, one-fourth Japanese. What his mother didn't know, however, was that the attractive man she met carried mutant genes. She didn't like or want her son to begin with--he was, after all, an accident. Therefore, she never treated him with love, and he never grew to like her. One day, when he was too fed up with her, he accidentally unleashed his powers on her, nearly killing her. Horrified at what he'd done, he fled.

Name: Myles Ahad
Age: 28 years
Gender: male
Power: he can conjure skeletons to aid in a fight, or to help out when short handed
Power weakness: he had no control over how many skeletons are conjured, let alone the amount of energy it takes to do so leaves him too weak to stand.
Strengths: Myles is a great team member whom will pull his weight for the group. He is very intelligent and hands on. He can fix nearly everything that is broken to a certain extent, and is rather book smart.
Weaknesses: He sucks at being a leader. Agility is not his strongest aspect as is strength and stamina. On top of that he is rather clumsy.
Personality: This man is caring for anyone he meets weither he knows them or not. He is the type of guy that will work day in and day out just to fix a problem the best he can in order to make things right.
Backstory (optional): Myles was born in a lab from a sample of dna that was found on an unknown ship that washed ashore during a storm. Many think the ship came from an icecap that melted though that is not known. He was cloned from the sample and placed inside of a woman whom worked at the research facility. Almost through the pregnancy the government shut the place down for the use of human subjects thus they culled all of the experiments. The woman, named Cindy, managed to hide escape with the child whom she had later in secret. Alone Cindy raised Myles before she found the school for children like him. No one expected him to have such powers, though truly they are beyond compare. His time at the school made him into a caring person that wanted nothing more than to help others. Now he works at the school to try and help mutants like him make something for themselves in life.

Other: he is the guide for the group since they were separated from the others though he has no leadership skills
