Okay so I have 10 gold, and have a bunch of fairy mushrooms. Is there a way to sell them in game?

the main ways of selling items are via Trade Broker and the Item Auctions forums.
I feel I should note that Fairy Mushrooms are generally considered as 'CoD fodder', a useless item used to send CoDs for items that are not in the inventory.
Main ways of making gold as a newbie are doing Quests (click town> click 'quest board') and Missions (town > town barracks) obtained from the towns.
