Ah, the common problem with newbies who breed too many pets only to later realize that their pets are being released into the wild because they have no space...

I know that there's the letters in red across the hatchery page:

Did you know that once a Sylesti becomes an Adult, it is automatically moved to your Stables.
If your Stables are full, that Sylesti is automatically released!

But I still see the same problem popping up all over the place.

Earlier today I had a newbie ask about buying with some of my pets, saying that they wanted to breed their pets to a mix of mine so they could have multiple offspring. I took a look at their stable-to-hatchery ratio and noticed, as usual, that there's only one stable tab that's practically full and there's a handful of pets in the hatchery already.

I didn't have any available anyway, but I did offer them some advice.

"As a veteran player, though, I would recommend that you work up the stable space before breeding too many pets. After roughly 28 days a bred pet will reach adulthood and will have to take up space in the stable; if there isn't room for them in the stable, they'll be released into the wild from the hatchery instead.

It's all too common to see saddened new players trying to sell a ton of pets that they never had any room for to begin with. Space is limited for everyone so typically these "mass bred" pets aren't very pretty or desirable, and despite their efforts to rehome them the pets end up lost to the wilderness.

Just a word of caution from someone who's been on Sylestia since 2013."

They answered with a thanks for the warning, and decided to try and save up for a second stable tab instead of searching for more pets.

I did respond by pointing out the warning on the hatchery page itself but seeing as they apparently hadn't noticed it yet, I think it should be made a little more obvious.

So a few suggestions for this:

1: Make the warning a part of the tutorial - probably the hardest option but it'd be most effective.

2: Add the warning above the Breeding Grounds menu - while they're breeding up their pets, they'll be warned. And shouldn't be too hard to do.

3: Turn the warning into a pop-up for the first time that a player enters their hatchery.

I think number 2 is a good option. Everyone will see it then!

I think a warning when you breed but will have no space in your stables ( Ex: You have no space in your stables. Are you sure you want to continue?) would be better
