Inbreeding can usually be found on themed pet offsping some times you will breed a grand baby girl with the great granddad therefore their offsping is now in bread.

It is neither good or bad it is more of a marker to tell you that there are pets it may not be able to breed with

In real life, inbreeding is bad as it can cause medical issues. But in the game it shouldn't affect you too much. Generally, the non inbred pets are considered better, but the real quality is in the traits and whether or not it is a themed pet.

In terms of breeding possibility, each trait that a parent has, have the same 50% chance of being passed on to the next generation. Note that for each trait slot, there are two trait points, so for example a visible trait will be AA, carried trait NA, and nothing NN. So a visible trait AA, will have 50% chance of passing either "A" to the offspring, or if there is a hidden trait, for example AB, 50% chance the baby will have "A" or "B".

So in terms of breeding possibility, it's just dependent on what the parent has, and each trait has equal possibility of being passed on.

In terms of visible traits, you'll probably see traits that were created earlier more commonly. This is because trait dominance work by alphabetical order, so A > B > C etc, and the letter they are assigned to is dependent on when they were introduced.

And traits that were introduced earlier might also be more prevalent, simply because they were in the game earlier, and thus, was created/bred more.

However, it is probably true that amongst the created pets in the game, certain traits are found more than others. This is due to general favouritism in the community.

If there are certain traits that a vast majority of players prefer, they can disrupt their pets till they get the traits, add them on to tamed pets via the mutator, create pets with those traits in the generator, or just intentionally select for those traits through multiple breeding generations.
