A lone lupora sat atop a hill, looking over the different regions she once called home.
A white zolnixi, marked with rainbows sat next to her, her talismans swaying in the wind.
They had met while traveling away from a circus where they had been born and raised for the amusement of others, but were abandoned for reasons unexplained, but implied.
The lupora, as black as night, with marks of purple over her body, tilted her head back and howled at the moon, calling out to all those sylesti who had been abandoned by their trainers, for whatever reason.
She would start a new pack, one where those left behind could stay and recover from their emotional and physical wounds, in an enviorment where they were surrounded by others who had gone through similar pain.
All would be welcome, no matter the species, age, gender, markings or mutations.
No one would ever be alone again...
She would make sure of that...

Hello, and welcome to the new Abandoned Sylesti RPG. I shut the old one down due to a lack of clear rules, lack of interest, and a bit of disorganization, and no plot line. So i am restarting it, as a brand new one! This time, there will be leaderships. They will be interspecies, maybe two of one gender, or one of each, unmated (unless they choose a mate), and through a system of random selection, each will be chosen. Everyone is expected to work along side their partner, even if they do not like who they are partnered with! This group functions like a real society and that means doing what is best for the group, and putting aside your interests.

The purpose of the ranks are for leadership, to keep the pack organized and better managed. When it comes to selecting a potential mate, what matters is compatability and love between the two, nothing else. It can be between two different species, the same gender, anything really.
Lone pups are allowed, and will be taken in by an adoptive "mother", basically whichever female decides to take them in. Egglings are allowed to, and will be put in a sort of nursery until hatched, then they will be taken in by one of the females, usually of the same species.

Reason for abandonment: Short story? He stopped doing his job.

Personality before: He was a shy cub, teased by some of the other, fancier cubs for his plain blue fur. He was owned by a hunter who captured wild sylesties. He learned to fight there, determined to prove he was worth something even if he was ugly, with boring fur. Soon, he became the best warrior in the stables; but he wasn't happy. He hated taking the freedom away from these wild sylesties, spending his nights in a cage, and days capturing others to put in cages beside him at night. He began throwing fights, to let some of the wild sylesties get away. Finally he just stopped fighting any of them. And one day, when he sat down, instead of attacking a rare luffox, his master just walked off and left him in the woods.

Personality after: He quickly went from being shy and afraid, to being really outgoing and gentle, fierce when he needs to be. He's super friendly, but a little goofy, kind of silly, and a little awkward. He is generous and patient, especially with cubs and kits, and goes out of his way to make sure they all know that they're special in their own ways, even if they aren't the fanciest looking creatures. In a battle, all the silliness and gentleness disappears. For years, his skill in a fight was the only thing that mattered, and he only survived by getting really good at it. And when his new family, his pride, (even though it's mostly not Lighiras, he still calls it that) is in danger, he will do anything it takes to protect it. He's not very clever, not a good planner, and sometimes acts without thinking. But he is a vicious fighter when his pride is threatened.


Children: None of his own, but he sort of tries to be a big brother to all the cubs and kits of the pack/pride

Likes: Playing games with the cubs and kits, sleeping in warm sunshine, eating. Twilight- he really respects her leadership, how she was able to create the new pride (okay, pack) and get everyone organized.

Dislikes: Anyone getting judged by their looks, or their intelligence. Small spaces. Seeing anyone hurt.

Favorite foods: Pretty much everything, he is always hungry. But he really, really likes raspberries and fish.

Other: The first thing he did after being abandoned was to try and find a wild pride of Lighira, hearing that his coloring and horns actually marked him as a cloud lighira, considered handsome and rare- but he's never found any wild lighiras to find out if this is true, or just something his mother used to tell him to try and make him feel better
