Dreampaw crouched next to Coldbreeze at the Flatrock. The two black cats looked like shadows. "Dawnkit's finally becoming an apprentice!" she hissed, her yellow-orange eyes wide.
Coldbreeze pawed her in the ear. "Quiet, Dreampaw," he said strictly. "I wonder who's apprentice she shall be."
"Shouldn't you be up there? You are deputy." Dreampaw pawed him right back. Her father was both deputy and her mentor.

(Icepaw hasn't been on for four days, so I'll just quickly play Dawnkit.)
Dawnkit leaped onto Flatrock, looking excited. "Dawnkit," Brookstar started. "Do you promise to take on your duties as an apprentice and follow the warrior code, training to become the best warrior you can be?" "I do!" Dawnkit replied. "Then under our warrior ancestors, you shall be known as Dawnpaw until you receive and have earned your warrior name." Brookstar finished. "I shall train you personally."

Dreampaw started the cheering. "Dawnpaw! Dawnpaw!" she yowled.
FadingPaw joined in the cheer, but was not paying much attention. She was in deep though about something. Things crossed her mind as she mewed.
"DawnPaw, DawnPaw" she said
(It's not that she doesn't care, it's her emotions.)

Moonsong sat near her den, watching the ceremony with a small smile. She chanted along with everyone else, before slipping inside of her den again, continuing to sort her newly gathered herbs and berries.

Dreampaw trotted over to her mother, Lillyleap. Lillyleap was standing beside her apprentice and Dreampaw's best friend, Fadingpaw.
Dreampaw jumped onto her mother's back. The calico warrior turned, then tackled her daughter back. "Hey, Dreampaw."
"Hey Lillyleap." She touched her nose to her mother's ear. She turned to Fadingpaw. "Hey Fadingpaw. Wanna go train? We can ask Skypaw, Windpaw, and Dawnpaw to come too!"
