I seem to be losing gold quicker than I can make it. I'm in the Umbra Forest right now. I have two pets in my party, I have less than 10K so I can't add an additional slot to my party. I've equipped them with the best equipment I've gotten and spent proficiency points (1 in health, 1 in intelligence, both Shadow). I recently put two pets on missions instead of one (1 medium, 1 easy).

My pets seem to have a really hard time battling in the Umbra Forest despite being Level 30. So, I have to heal them often, which is how I'm losing gold. Does anyone got any idea what I might be doing wrong? Is the Faerina Shrine in Umbra Forest just really difficult to get through?

Generally what you want for doing missions is, well,a missions pet- a pet that has all their proficiency and equipment dedicated to a single stat.

Additionally, pets do heal on their own over time, although I... think you have to take them off the party if you're in the first two regions? Not using the healing services saves you a LOT of gold (trust me here, I didn't know about these two points when we were a newbie. So SO much gold loss from healing services, literal tens of thousands)

Grind up some pets, either in the weaker regions, or by sending them on the really low level missions (which coincidentally are also the shortest/fastest missions) at Esior's Haven (missions giving EXP and all), and you'll also be able to build your potion/Elixir/draught piles that way from the mission satchels- which will ALSO mean you won't need the healing services.

Also, once you can confidently do the level 25 very hards (might want to use a lv.30+ mission pet focused solely on whichever stat is required) you'll start getting epic/legendary equipment from the reward satchels, which can go you your main fighters (I see your Artery is using only common and rare stuff)

Thank you for the advice! I will try to build up my healing supplies with my mission pets and put exploring on hold until I do. :)
