I did not even notice this tell now but the flower pets I grew I made sure to max out and the little info at the bottom of the flower bots said two traits shown and two hidden traits. I used items to make sure but the pets that came from those plants only have the shown traits no hidden.
Am I missing something?
Could you only have one or the other and yet it still let told you have both do to be on the pet?
I am confused.

Looking at your flower pets, the only ones who do not have hidden traits are the faelora and morkko? All the others (2x bulbori, 1x qitari, 3x lupora, 3x vulnyx, 1x sylvorpa) are two-vis, two-hidden

I only see the shown and I tested them all so I should see the hidden ones listed right? such as this one:

it says on his
Gene One: Calico
Gene Two: None
Gene Three: None
Mutation One: Demon Wings
Mutation Two: None
Mutation Three: None

if hidden traits are there shouldn't two of the "none" have something listed in the odd text like this?

Those would be Carried traits- Hidden traits are a specific 'subset' of Carried trait- they are traits "Hidden" by a visible trait on the same slot ('lower' letters are dominant over later letters- eg. 'n' is the 'Nothing', 'a' obscures all, 'd' is recessive to a, b, or c, and is dominant to e, f, g, etc.)
That vul, for instance, has this set up:
Gene 1: (FH) Calico
Gene 2: (NN) Nothing
Gene 3: (NN) Nothing
Mutation 1: (BF) Demon Wings
Mutation 2: (NN) Nothing
Mutation 3: (NN) Nothing

In which G1 FH is Vis Calico, Hidden Siberian Doublestripe, and M1 is Vis Demon Wings, Hidden Fae Wings.

If a pet has been gene tested, Hidden traits can be seen in the Image Code of the pet, or in the Advanced Search (if you go to Advanced search, switch to 'search pets', put your username in the "owner" section, then select "Type: Exclusive", search, and then switch to 'Genetics', you can see all your plant pets.
They will show up in the Breeding Generator.
(The Sylestia Extension, I believe, also will allow you to view them)

We got more in-depth in this thread

Oh it that what they are. So the only way to see them is to ether do a look up on search or look through the codes nothing on the pets page then?
