So I am thinking of starting up a quest type RP Similar to the ones I and others have done in the past. My thoughts for this one are that You play as your Avatar/ OC Avatar in a new world creation type quest, my other Idea is to just keep to the original Iotified Idea and try another restart

That would be cool, but maybe our avatar characters could have their starter pet with them? Kinda like a familiar of sorts

Yes I was thinking that as well, and maybe it would be a mix where some items allow your pet to gain visible traits and stats and such

Yeah! There could be things like potions or magic crystals. For example, lets say you have a Vulynx starter, you acquire a potion made with a snake and some other ingredients. When your Vulynx drinks this potion it gains the trait Chimera Tail, and there would be other items as well that activate other traits

Another thing is that maybe you could edit your starter pet in the generator so it doesn't have any traits

Yeah That is a good idea, But I think I like the freedom of selecting the traits yourself so maybe like a crystal orb grants one trait to your pet( can be used at any time ), A tangy potion II (Increases Agility by 10), and also because I don't think I'm going to make the Avatars set to your current one for younger players , the familiar should not be set as well.

Then again I could always juts take the original Iotified route and not have Avatars involved at all

Okay, so maybe you could make a simple pet in the generator that has no traits, and make a dream avatar as well, except maybe there should be a rule where you can't have avatar items such as weapons or armor, so that you have to make the items yourself or buy them off some kind of travelling merchant

Of course not having avatar take place in the RP at all would be fine too

Yes! for example My avatar (even if Im the Zone Master) would look like this
And Lets say I encounter a Merchant that is selling Ornate daggers, and I purchase one for 200 Gems ( i.e. The RP currency as to not be mistaken for game Gold) then my avi would gain a held Dagger from a set that I can Display as an Image in game, and The Player can alter their avatar and post the image so the information board can be updated.

I have a question, are we going to have a inventory system?
