Hi! I'm a sort-of new player to Sylestia and I have been noticing breeding accounts with cool projects. I think it would be cool if there were a competition at a festival or a quest that needed someone to breed a specific sylestie with a 0% inbred factor to win or complete.
Besides the breeders I found abandoned accounts with malnourished sylesties. I feed the sylesties every now and then and thought it would be cool that if you fed the starving syesties in these accounts enough that they would come to your stable and live with you instead, returning to their original player once they logged on again. I realize this can be used the wrong way by people making several accounts and being in-active on them, but I thought it would still be a cool feature (Maybe it has to be 100 days old without food? Maybe you have to feed the sylestie for 10 days?)
Thank you for reading! I hope you like my idea, and if you have anything to add, feel free to comment!

some festivals are very short and usually breeding projects take very long, like max stats ones and 6vis

Okay! Maybe then it could be restricted to long festivals and quests! Thank you for your response :3

I like the idea of having breeding contests, but they would have to be either breeding goals you can attain over a long time, or contests involving pets that have already been bred. As was already said, breeding projects take time. Not three weeks of time like long festivals, months to over a year of time. My shortest 6v project still took me over 6 months to complete. Even 3v projects can take months to complete. If you add in 0% inbred..... that takes epic amounts of time, a huge starting breeding pool, and a lot of logistics.
As for pet transfers... wholly and completely against that. Pets are not harmed in the least by not being fed, it just causes them not to be able to breed or battle. If, somehow, something like this ever came to pass, I would want it to be in such a way that the person 'gifted' with these pets could not breed them or sell them, release them, or possibly even battle with them. It would not be fair to the person that truly owns that pet if someone could basically steal them and breed those pets for profit (in the case of project and/or themed pets), sell them for profit, or gain the advantage of battling with a maxed stat pet that they did not purchase or breed themselves. As mentioned with the previous idea on contests, breeding to any sort of end takes a lot of time and effort (not to mention funds). If those restrictions were in place, I guess it would be fine since the pet would revert back to their proper owner when the person returned, but I don't know why someone would want to have a pet that they couldn't do anything with except feed and look at.

Unfortunately, as stated, it would be really hard to do breeding project competitions for Festivals due to the time constraint.
As for borrowing others' pets, we are pretty much 100% against any feature that'd allow a player to take/use, even if just temporary, another player's pet without their consent.
