I have 21 badges in my inventory, only 1 shows on this page. I am unable to purchase any of the 3-4 badge item purchases as the system states that I do not have enough badges for the purchase.
The badges were won during the Daily quest. Is that what the problem is - the system not updating?

You have to use them from your Inventory first.

click the pile of badges and hit the 'use item' button to make it so you can use them in the shops

Silly me - I did not even think about that. I though ti would work like using the gold.
