My name is Sakura Hana and today is the day that I would get my spirit animal. As I placed the final pin in my hair, the gong for the ceremony sounded. It was time for the others and myself turning fourteen to enter the plaza where the ceremony would take place.

As I walked in there were some gasps from the crowd, for my peers and myself, we were in our most beautiful outfits. My outfit had consisted of my usual colors- red, pink, and black, though there was some whites mixed in my dress and accessories.
There were three others taking the ceremony with me. After some time, no-one had summoned a spirit animal, but it was my turn now.
I stepped forward and accepted the nectar. There was a flash of light and for a brief moment, I could not see. When my eyesight had returned, I couldn't see anything there. But then, there was a number of murmurs from the crowd. I reached up to my head to where all of their eyes were at and then a pink and black butterfly, whose species was known to be deadly, flew off of my head then landed on my hand where it turned into a tattoo. I had a spirit animal!

"C'mon... er... tiger, lets go, mom said we were allowed to travel to Zhong as a private vacation, Kai is coming too, since he doesn't have anyone to tell him he can't, and he doesn't trust me by myself" Sylver said, nudging her spirit tiger. Ever since she summoned it, she could never really bond with it very well. She was a solitary creature, and Sylver was too indecisive to give her a name. The tiger was beautiful, with silvery fur and black stripes, as well as crystal blue eyes like her own.

"Hey Sylv, ready to go?" Kai asked waving. She nodded as she stared enviously at the tattoo on his hand as he lowered it back to his side. "So... are we riding your tiger?" He asked as he came closer. The tiger was very large, bigger than most she's seen. Kai had an incredible bond with his river otter, and it was a natural bond, which didn't require the nectar. "If she lets us..." Sylver said, getting on the tiger's back, nudging her lightly. "C'mon girl, we're going to Zhong, haven't you always wanted to go? no? well lets go anyway" Sylver said to her as Kai climbed on. The majestic tiger began walking "Yes! thank you!" She thanked the tiger as it began walking.

"Congratulations! You, Sakura Hana, have summoned your spirit animal. Now what will it's name be?," the Lightcloak performing the ceremony asked.
"Since she was attracted to my flower hair pins, I will name her Kochou," I had replied.

The two kids on the white tiger's back were making good progress on their way to Zhong, and were almost there. At this point, the tiger broke out into a sprint. Kai clung tightly onto Sylver, trusting she wouldn't fall, this was her spirit animal after all, she knew her better than anyone.

Sylver, on the other hand, was clinging to her tiger for dear life, internally screaming. They finally reached Zhong. As they reached what looked to be a nectar ceremony, the tiger suddenly stopped, throwing the two kids a few feet away, right in front of the stage. The two groaned as they struggled to get back up.

"C'mon Raion. Show me the meaning of haste!" Malik said. The white lion under him burst into a sprint.
I really don't want to be late! Malik thought.
Punctuality was his worst enemy.

Everyone continued to stare at the two kids who were cast into the center of the stage. Kochou came out and fluttered in front of the children to inspect them. The Lightcloak stared at the kids, the crowd stared at the kids, my family stared at the kids, even I stared at the kids. When I looked closer at the crowd, the was a white tiger standing in it? No-one had yet to of noticed it.
The Lightcloak walked over to the kids, held out is hands and asked them, "Are you two okay?"

Rhys walked through the wall grass of his hometown "Evelyn? Evelyn! Where are you?" He called out, looking for the girl. They were supposed to be heading over to Zhong for her last minute nectar ceremony, her last chance at getting a spirit animal.

Suddenly, a white lion flew into the centre of the stage. Malik face-palmed.
"I thought you were going to stop outside of the place, so I could sneak in subtly." he hissed at the lion.

The white tiger seemed to giggle at the kids. "Y-yeah, I'm fine, what about you, Sylver?" He asked, pulling the girl back to her feet. "Yeah... I'm fine, I guess..." Her eyes shot to her tiger, meeting her in a glare. "Brat" she said to the tiger, who just chuffed and rolled her eyes. "S-sorry for interrupting, we're supposed to meet our other friend here for her nectar ceremony" Kai apologized.
