Perhaps I might have missed this. Members keep approaching me asking if (recent themed) pets are either available to sell or for breeding. If I wanted to do either, they would be posted on the Pet Sale Forum, correct?
I have sold two themed pets on the forum - no problem. However, I keep getting messages regarding ones that I have not offered on the forum. It is really beginning to bug me and I am tempted to start being "rude" about it.
The themed pets that I have remaining cost me well and above what it cost me to do the spin as I tried multiple times for specific pets (particularly when I wanted a mate for one that I already had won). In reality, the total amount that I spent is well above what the pet might be worth on the premise that it cost me 600 diamonds per egg but it took multiple tries to get that one egg.
Thoughts, opinions?

I've both had people ask about pets being for sale/breeding and been the one asking, so I guess I have some kind of perspective on this? XD First off, if the person asking is being polite about asking, I generally have no issue sending back a 'sorry, no, that pet isn't for sale/breeding' for whatever reason. If they are rude about it, well that's when you send it on to an admin to deal with, I think.
As for why people message about these things rather than just looking at your sales/breeding.... not everyone uses the forums, either for selling or for purchasing. Also, not everyone has all the pets that they would be willing to sell/breed set up at any given time, so the only way to know for sure about a given pet is to ask. I have several pets that I passively like and do not have up for sale, but if someone offered me 100k for one of them, I'd probably sell simply because I'm unlikely to use that pet, even though I do like them. Also, if I'm looking for a certain trait on a certain theme and it is a rare trait in that theme I am exceptionally likely to message owners to see if they are willing to sell or set their pets up for breeding so that I can get that trait into my breeding pool.
Generally, if a person is being polite in their message, they are not trying to be a pest, they are just searching for something that they haven't been able to find in the usual ways, and you happen to have it. If they do become a pest though (and I have had a couple of people that would not take no for an answer) either ignore them, or message Krin about it. At least, that's what I do lol.

Thank you,
The last one was pretty vague about which pet they wanted - simply wanted to know if I had any for sale. I asked them to be more specific. When they became more specific it was because I had two girls and one boy - they wanted two of the girls. There a boy and a girl of the pet up for sale but said member was trying to get me to not ask for "that much money". I mentioned that the pet cost me "at least" the amount of money of the one already for sale...so likely the answer will end up being know and I will end up purchasing the boy that is for sale and I will have two pairs of each (one of the girls is actually a better match for the one that is for sale).
I have a tendency to be "overly generous" and it this case, I will end up being quite the opposite. This is one that I do want and plan to keep.

Ah~ The ones that pester about lowering prices, especially if you've already explained why the price is the way it is.... those ones I just ignore if they continue. If they want the pet badly enough, they will pay the asking price, even if they have to save up. That's how I see it, anyway XP
