Hi guys! So... I just bought a genetic mutator, but I have no idea how to use it. Can anyone please help an idiot like me? ^^"

You can use it from the pets' profile page, using the 'Genetic Philter' button. It should show up there for eligible pets. :3

Oh, really? That's strange... It's not showing up... How do you know if a pet is eligible?

Is it a Tamed pet? I think the genetic mutators only work on Tamed pets. It should say on the item itself what kinds of pets you can use it on. X3

And no, I don't have much use for those these day, but I appreciate the offer. ^^ You go ahead and sell/trade it~
Alternatively, you could keep it incase you do get a Tamed pet to use it on. X3
