Juniper~
With a yawn and a stretch she awoke to the ever familar crushing pressure of her metal burrow. It was dark and gloomy with a moldy sort of smell in the air. This was home as sad as it was. With a slight grunt she managed to weasel her way out of the burrow into the damp land above. Rusty metal pipes twisted and bent about the odd land providing a perfect platform for her to be able to climb up. With a yawn she gain stretched and started on the ever precent search for food.

Toruk sat there staring at the ruins of the city he had once lived in. He saw movement out of the corner of his misty blue eyes. (he isn't blind though.) He bounded over to the female creature. "Hi," he said in a confident voice, "What are you doing?"

Juniper~
Instinctively she hissed and dashed off into the nearest burrow. Strange she hadn't smelt danger though one could never be too sure where and what danger was. Usually though a predator didn't greet you with a hello. Her head poked from the burrow as she looked out at the animal. What was she doing? "Why is that any of your business?"

He looked at her with curious and laughing blue eyes. " It was just a question. You didn't have to act as if I were that awfully huge, and mutated bear over there," he said pointing to a slobbering creature running towards them. His face suddenly became surprised. "A HUGE MUTATED BEAR RUNNING TOWARDS US!" he shouted excitedly. He began yipping like a pup and hopping up and down. He stopped suddenly as the sky darkened with acid green clouds. He dove into the burrow with Juniper, and lay down watching as the rain fell. "This is sad," he said glumly, "I really wanted to kill that bear before the rain did...." He lay his head on his paws and his rounded ears twitched, showing the tiger stripes and a few scars that were on them. He closed eyes and began to breath very softly. he had fallen asleep.
